Larry Hightower memory

This website was created in memory of my great grandfather, Lawrence "Larry" Millard Hightower. I hope to hear from people all over the world who remember hearing about Larry's wheelbarrow journey, who saw him personally, who gave him a place to sleep and/or food on his journey, who sponsored him on his journey, who heard him speak at a college, school or church about being an American, who gave him a ride to one of these places, who wrote him letters, who had their photos taken with him, who rode horses with him, who worked with him, whom lived by him, who waited in the streets for him to pass by their town pushing his wheelbarrow, who sold him gloves, coats, tires, shoes, socks etc. on his journey, who listened to his radio programs he was on, whatever your interaction with Larry Hightower I want to hear from you. I will continue to update this website and await new people around the world to share their personal stories and memorabilla with me and the world. Please help me preserve this part of history before all who knew him pass away. Thank you so much for sharing your stories. Please email me so I can stay in touch with you about your stories. hollyhub@frontier.com
